PULSE® PROTECTS

The Safer Braking Technology

Convenience, reliability and simple, elegant design are at the heart and soul of Pulse® The Safer Braking Technology and the years of engineering that have gone into its development. Your dealer simply installs the small pulse module near the third brake light and the solid state electronics do the rest. No moving parts. Nothing to wear out. Just a simple idea whose time has come.

We Have You Covered.

Pulse® features an exclusive 5-year, unlimited mile product replacement warranty for manufacturing defects. If the product fails for any reason, we will replace it free of charge. Also, ask your dealer if they offer Pulse®’s exclusive Limited Product Warranty that provides an additional $3,000 Total Loss Protection benefit in the unlikely event that Pulse® fails to prevent you from a total loss in a rear-end collision.

Proven Technology.

In 2002, Daimler-Chrysler tested the benefits of a flashing brake light. If passenger car drivers have a 0.5-second additional warning time, about 60% of rear-end collisions can be prevented. An extra second of warning time can prevent about 90% of rear-end collisions.

From 2006 to 2010, the Department of Transportation (DOT) studied and published a series of reports on the effectiveness of a flashing third brake light showing that a flashing brake light improved the reaction time of the driver in a trailing vehicle by almost 50%.The same DOT studies showed that a distracted driver was 69% more likely to notice the car ahead of them slowing or stopping, if that car was equipped with a flashing third brake light.

In short, study after study demonstrates the effectiveness of the Pulse® safer braking technology in helping to prevent rear-end collisions.

The Pulse Difference.

Step on the brake pedal and Pulse® goes to work pulsing, rather than flashing, the third brake light.

Pulse® is proudly designed in the USA and each unit is hand-tested twice at the manufacturer before being shipped to the dealer.
