Pulse features an exclusive 5-year, unlimited mile product replacement warranty for manufacturing defects. If the product fails for any reason, we will replace it free of charge. Also, ask your dealer if they offer Pulse’s exclusive Limited Product Warranty that provides an additional $3,000 Total Loss Protection benefit in the unlikely event that Pulse fails to prevent you from a total loss in a rear-end collision.
In 2002, Daimler-Chrysler tested the benefits of a flashing brake light. If passenger car drivers have 1 0.5-second additional warning time, about 60% of rear-end collisions can be prevented. An extra second of warning time can prevent about 90% of rear-end collisions.1
From 2006 to 2010, the Department of Transportation (DOT) studied and published a series of reports on the effectiveness of a flashing third brake light showing that a flashing brake light improved the reaction time of the driver in a trailing vehicle by almost 50%.2 The same DOT studies showed that a distracted driver was 69% more likely to notice the car ahead of them slowing or stopping, if that car was equipped with a flashing third brake light.
